The price is not bad as it also includes textbooks. A similar class would cost about 300-500.

How would I go about having my salsa tested so I can have it co-packed for selling? I’ve been reading so much material on-line that it’s quite confusing. I live in Central NY State, Wayne County, and read that Cornell and UVM work together, so I thought about the Vermont Food Venture as a possible first step for more information, as I can’t seem to find any comparable organizations in NY and Cornell’s website doesn’t give specific information. Also, it’s very hard to read all the FDA Rules out there. Thanks!

Hello there,

We’re from Boston and run a similar program called CropCircleKitchen. Since we’re a small (in employees, not spirit!) non-profit kitchen incubator ourselves, we’re always looking to reach out to other organizations to “talk shop”. We know how busy you are but would love to extend our hand and say hello, and perhaps have a conversation about sharing resources (we have yet to put up our own resource page online), if you’re game. There are not many kitchen incubators around but we see a huge need and feel there’s some great value in working together.
