Minimal Processing of Local Food
We are excited to launch a minimal processing program for locally-grown food to make nutritionally-rich food products for retail and institutions. We aim to maximize access to local food for local consumers and local markets for local growers. This program is the next critical stage in increasing accessibility and availability of local food, as identified in the 2011 Farm to Plate Initiative. VFVC is eager to take on that task.
