We are still on the search for equipment, but below you will find a list of equipment already available for use at the VFVC:

  • Double-stacked convection oven (or possibly larger)
  • Commercial bakery equipment
  • 4-8 burner gas commercial cook top stove
  • Steam kettles (approx. 40 gal.)
  • Tilt skillets (small & large)
  • Automatic capper
  • Labeling machine
  • Food pump w. stainless stell fittings
  • Type 1 fume hood (16 ft.)
  • Fruit & vegetable mills (small & large)
  • 25 quart vertical cutter mixer
  • Immersion mixer
  • Walk-in cooler
  • Bottling and filling lines (large & small and for liquid, dry and solid)

  • Fruit and vegetable processing:  juicing, chopping, dicing, peeling etc.

    Great that there are bottling lines and a labeler. Definitely need water filtration [or maybe a shared well with VT Soy?] Important not to have chlorine in the syrups.

    Not too sure yet about other equipment. I plan to be at the clients’ tour Thursday evening.
